There is much chitchat on and offline about this. It is clear that many companies have taken fright and their excuse for return en masse to office are often hedged such that they don't lose their best staff. And contrary-wise a lot of fuss is being made by some, over hiring sprees that have a target for no more that a handful of new recruits.
Up here in Scotland the 26th Conference of Parties is losing its mojo as those without the luxury of working from home decide to go on strike and wreck the event for such as rail commuters. Thus implementatio plans for hybrid working are currently in abeyance or going slowly especially as its the time for long school hols before the winter weather sets in.
