I was pleased to see the improvement, in both content and style of the quoted Barefoot Computing materials. Pre-pandemic I was a Barefoot ambassador and felt the slide-deck provided for me to use to tour Primary schools was dated. Indeed it was clear that several (many ?) of the teachers I presented to had seen it before.

Clearly the problem of teaching of coding by inexperienced teachers needed more commitment/funding like teaching modern languages has received - though despite this French/German has declined and Mandarin too - except in the private sector.

I was disappointed that my (expert) feedback to their organisation and academics involved was ignored or at least not acknowledged.
