Kaws seems like the perfect choice. His street art-inspired forms hint at urban edginess, but with little of the raw authenticity of Basquiat. His orange Mickey Mouse figure (or is it the Michelin Man?) drips with uneasy irony; the friendly Disney icon is faceless and mute, but still Instagrammable.
